Samuel Smith's Nut Brown Ale is made with well water from the original well at the Old Brewery, sunk in 1758, with the hard well water being drawn from 85 feet underground.

Bog Turtle Brewery in Rising Sun (Cecil Co) has closed. Bog Turtle is unfortunately another Maryland brewery that closed before I had a chance to step inside.
