The Rise of Craft Beer

September 12, 2013 Jack Perdue

The New Yorker magazine has done an interesting treatment of the status of the craft beer industry. Labeled Mapping the Rise of Craft Beer it looks at craft beer from many perspectives such as total breweries, production, growth, brewery density, 50-largest and new breweries opened. I like their definition of what comprises a craft brewery as "decidedly non-Budweiser-esque beers".
